Timber Flyscreens

Nothing is more important when designing your home than the window & door selection. The 3 most important ‘S’ factors to consider are: Sustainability (Energy Efficiency), Style and Security. The whole character and thermal performance of your home will be decided by the choices you make at the design phase.

Energy Efficient Windows Australia can manufacture insect screens to suit any of our timber windows or doors.

Timber Window Screen

Casement and Awning windows – the insect screens fits neatly on the inside of the window frame.

Double hung, Louvre and Sliding windows – the insect screens are on the outside of the window frame.

Bifold windows – the insect screens either roll smoothly down from the top (Centor) OR can neatly pull down a pleated screen (Brio)

Timber Door Screens

French and Hinged Doors – Flyscreen doors that match the style of the main door can be fitted either on the inside or the outside of the door frame. If having a door open either into or out of a room is an issue e.g. Furniture and walkway clearances, then a neatly pleated screen that slides from a powder coated cassette (over 100 colours to choose from) is the answer (phantom screens).

Sliding doors – Insect screens are fitted on the inside of the window frame and slide as easily as the door itself.

Bifold doors – Open up the doors to maximise air flow without flyscreens is now possible with either a stunning sliding screen that disappears into the wall cavity when not in use (Centor) OR a discreet pleated screen the concertinas from the side, that can withstand 30km per hour winds! (Brio)
